Spring into Learning: Our April 2026 Highlights

April was a busy and exciting month for our before- and after-school program!

The children kicked off the month by exploring nature through seed germination and planting their own seeds. They’ve been learning firsthand how plants grow, showing patience and care as they nurture them each day.

One of the highlights this month was observing a small caterpillar. The children watched it closely as it ate daily and grew bigger and bigger—an amazing hands-on lesson in life cycles and change.

We also made sure to stay active and have fun. The kids enjoyed spending time in the gym and on the mats, building strength, coordination, and teamwork through play.

During spring break, we went on exciting field trips, including visits to a trampoline park and the Roger Williams Zoo. These outings gave the children opportunities to explore, stay active, and create wonderful memories together.
