We Love Taekwondo: A Snapshot of Summer Taekwondo Graduation 2023
Our childcare program stands out for its unique approach. We offer a well-rounded curriculum designed to stimulate children’s cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. Through hands-on activities, children have the opportunity to explore different cultures and perspectives, which enhances their critical thinking skills.
In addition to our cognitive development activities, Taekwondo is at the core of our developmental program. Through Taekwondo, children learn valuable life skills such as respect, perseverance, self-control, honesty, and humility. They also build strength and coordination as they practice kicks and punches.
To celebrate the end of our summer camp, our children participated in a Taekwondo graduation ceremony. In front of their proud parents and guardians, they earned their yellow belts. It was a moment of great pride for all of us!
This week children learned about Korean culture.
They played Ddak-ji, a traditional Korean game.
They learned how to use chopsticks.
They talked about traditional Korean colors and clothes.
We had a fantastic time at our Taekwondo graduation ceremony!
